Director's Biography

Andy Kaiser

Martin is a 80's kid, who

developed at an early age a lust for film making. He first was introduced to the industry in Spain, where the German national lived during adolescence, before returning home for higher education. He studied Animation & Visual Effects at the German Film School and was a selected Feature Film Directing student at the

Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ludwigsburg.

During this period he was awarded two of the highest honors in national film education. The Hollywood Workshop scholarship program at UCLA and the Deutschland Stipendium (German Scholarship) for outstanding students. His film "The Night Father Christmas Died" has been nominated for the 2010 Student Academy Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He went on to graduate with Robin Hood, as a full length feature film, which should later ope film festival Max Ophuels Prize and hold his US premiere at San Diego Film Festival in 2013.

His visuals feel, his ability to stage actors and action and his crafted handwriting, which gives a Martin Schreier-Film his unique on-screen identity, transitioned him naturally into the film industry.

After his depute feature "Unsere Zeit is jetzt", he was trusted with the Studio Babelsberg

production of "Traumfabrik", which will be released in German cinemas in 2019. Besides, Martin is a long time collaborator of Cro and Chimperator, who he shot the music video entitled "Meine Gang" feat. Dajuan for.

Martin is the cinema director for larger-then-life imagery. This makes him unique to the German market. Combined with his skill to tell an engaging story in a closed narrative environment, he provides the necessary stage to high value brands.
